About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa set for 3ds Max features a grey fabric finish, paired with a floor lamp and a potted plant. This contemporary seating arrangement comprises a minimalist three-seater sofa, a slender metal floor lamp with a glass dome shade, and a potted indoor plant. The sofa is upholstered in a textured grey fabric with clean, linear proportions and integrated armrests. It is accessorised with a collection of scatter cushions in neutral tones, adding depth to the overall composition. The floor lamp provides a delicate vertical element, while the potted plant introduces a natural organic contrast to the structured, geometric lines of the main seating unit, creating a balanced and cohesive interior vignette.

The download is a 26.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection and manipulation of the sofa, lamp, and plant components. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for seamless placement on floor planes. Materials are applied using standard mapping, which can be easily adjusted or swapped to suit specific project palettes. The lighting elements are set up as separate objects, enabling independent control over intensity and colour temperature during the scene rendering process.

Ideal for residential living room visualisations and high-end hotel lobby renders, this set serves as a versatile focal point. It integrates well into modern apartment designs, lounge areas, or open-plan studio spaces. Designers looking for a balanced furniture ensemble will find this useful for quick scene population during the concept or development stages. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables, area rugs, and neutral wall treatments, making it a reliable asset for creating comfortable, curated interiors in various architectural styles.
