About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sectional sofa features a grey fabric finish, a chaise-longue configuration, and a draped blue throw blanket. This L-shaped sectional sofa presents a clean, low-profile design suitable for modern living spaces. The upholstery is a neutral grey textile with a soft, matte appearance, covering the deep seat cushions and backrests. It features a chaise extension on the left side, providing an elongated seating area. The frame sits on low-profile, metallic feet. Included in the set is a contrasting blue throw blanket draped over the chaise, alongside a matching blue accent cushion placed on the right-hand seat, adding a subtle touch of colour and texture to the overall composition.

The download is a 33.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan before placement. The fabric and metallic materials are assigned to separate object IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of shaders or textures if a different colour palette is required. Ensure the pivot point is set at the base for accurate floor alignment. Lighting should be adjusted to capture the soft highlights on the fabric weave and the subtle reflections on the metallic feet.

This sectional is ideal for residential living room layouts, open-plan apartments, or high-end hotel lobby seating areas. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and floor lamps. Professionals searching for comfortable, contemporary lounge seating will find this piece effective for creating relaxed, inviting interior scenes. It works particularly well in staged renders for property developments, where a balance of comfort and modern aesthetics is essential for visual appeal in residential marketing projects and interior design presentations.
