About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sectional sofa features a grey fabric finish and includes a curated set of decorative living room accessories. This L-shaped sectional sofa presents a low-profile, clean-lined silhouette typical of contemporary residential furniture. It is upholstered in a textured grey fabric with a solid timber base plinth. The configuration includes a generous chaise section and deep seating. The set is accessorised with a variety of scatter cushions in neutral and dark tones, alongside a black side table surface. Included decor elements feature a modern table lamp, a glass tray with bottles, a stack of books, and a patterned throw blanket draped over the edge, adding layers of domestic detail.

The download is a 106 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the sofa and its individual decor components. Users can scale the sectional to fit specific room dimensions or swap the fabric textures using standard material editor workflows. The pivot points are set at the base of the objects for efficient placement on floor planes. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the fabric grain and the reflective properties of the included glass and metallic decorative accessories.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, modern apartment interiors, and hotel lounge areas, this sectional serves as a primary focal point. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, large-scale area rugs, and ambient floor lighting. Professionals searching for a complete, styled seating arrangement for architectural visualisation will find this asset useful for staging open-plan spaces. It is suited for projects requiring a sophisticated, lived-in aesthetic, particularly when designing for comfort-focused spaces or contemporary real estate marketing renders.
