About this asset

This contemporary living room scene for 3ds Max features a grey fabric L-shaped sectional sofa, armchair, coffee table, and shelving. This comprehensive living room composition centers on a low-profile L-shaped sectional sofa upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, complete with a chaise lounge and several accent cushions. Complementing the seating is a single contemporary armchair with a slim wooden frame and matching fabric upholstery. A low, square coffee table with a dark, high-gloss finish provides a focal point, while a tall, narrow open-shelf unit with a dark wood and metal structure anchors the composition. The entire set is grounded by a large, textured area rug that ties the furniture pieces together visually.

The download is a 43.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should import this file directly into the 3ds Max environment to maintain the pre-configured scene hierarchy and lighting setup. The assets are organized by object type, allowing for individual selection and repositioning within a larger interior project. Material definitions are applied to each element, and users can adjust the texture tiling on the rug or the reflectivity of the coffee table surface to suit specific render requirements. Ensure the scene scale is verified against project units upon insertion to ensure accurate spatial proportions.

This versatile furniture set is ideal for high-end residential interior visualizations, luxury apartment staging, or hospitality lobby concepts. It works effectively as a ready-to-use focal point for open-plan living areas where a cohesive, modern aesthetic is required. Architects and interior designers can use this scene to quickly populate floor plans or demonstrate spatial flow in client presentations. Search for this asset when needing a complete, balanced lounge arrangement that pairs well with minimalist or contemporary architectural interiors and warm, dark-wood wall paneling.
