About this asset

This 3ds Max decorative set includes a fabric hippo-shaped ottoman, a monkey-themed table lamp, and a pair of slippers for interior styling. This collection features a whimsical hippo-shaped ottoman upholstered in a dark grey fabric with visible stitched detailing. Accompanying this is a sculptural monkey table lamp, finished in a matte black tone and mounted on a cylindrical base, which holds a single exposed light bulb. Completing the set is a pair of simple, textured slippers. The pieces are designed with a focus on playful, character-driven aesthetics, making them suitable for casual living spaces or children’s rooms where a touch of personality is required to break up more formal furniture arrangements.

The download is a 23.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, these assets are organised as discrete objects, allowing for individual placement or grouping within a scene. Users should check the pivot points upon insertion to ensure the ottoman sits flush with floor geometry and the lamp rests correctly on surfaces. Materials are applied as standard shaders; ensure the light bulb component is assigned an emissive property or a photometric light source to achieve the intended illumination effect during final rendering and scene lighting setup.

These items are ideal for adding character to residential interiors, particularly in nurseries, playrooms, or eclectic living room schemes. They work well as conversational accent pieces placed near lounge seating or on side tables. Professionals might search for these assets when sourcing unique object sets to populate lifestyle renders or to add warmth and a lived-in feel to contemporary interior design proposals. They pair effectively with soft textiles and neutral colour palettes, serving as focal points within an otherwise minimalist room layout.
