About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric high-back armchair paired with a matching black round side table. The armchair exhibits a clean, contemporary silhouette defined by a tall, upholstered backrest and a contrasting dark-stained timber frame. Its seat and back are covered in a textured grey fabric, complemented by a small, darker patterned scatter cushion. The frame features slender, tapered legs and ergonomic armrests that integrate seamlessly into the structural support. Alongside the chair, a compact, circular side table with a pedestal base provides a functional surface. This set provides a balanced aesthetic, combining soft textile textures with the sharp, linear quality of the dark wooden components.

The download is a 6.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is provided as a cohesive unit, allowing for immediate placement into interior scenes. Users should verify the pivot points are set at the base for accurate floor alignment. The materials are structured for standard render workflows, with textures mapped to the geometry. Ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling, and check that the scale is consistent with the project units before finalizing the composition within the scene's lighting environment.

This armchair and side table combination is suited for residential living rooms, reading nooks, or hotel lounge areas where a sophisticated, compact seating arrangement is required. The set works well as an accent feature when paired with floor lamps or area rugs to define a small relaxation zone. Designers often search for high-back chairs to add verticality to a space, making this piece ideal for staging contemporary interiors that require a blend of comfort and refined, minimalist furniture design.
