Contemporary Grey Fabric Curved Sectional Sofa

This contemporary grey fabric curved sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a sleek, sweeping profile with integrated vertical channel tufting. Designed with a distinctive sweeping curve, this sectional sofa offers a modern aesthetic suitable for open-plan living areas. The piece is upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, complemented by vertical channel-stitched detailing along the base and backrest. It includes a low-profile dark plinth base, giving the impression of a floating form. The set is accessorised with two square decorative cushions in muted green and blush tones, along with a draped textured throw blanket, providing a realistic lived-in appearance for interior visualisations. Its ergonomic, low-back design maintains clean lines while offering a generous seating surface.

The download is an 18.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the cushions and throw blanket independently from the main sofa frame. Users should check the pivot point at the base centre for efficient rotation and placement within a scene. The fabric textures are mapped to accommodate standard tiling, and the geometry is optimised for high-quality close-up rendering. Ensure the lighting setup accounts for the soft, matte finish of the upholstery to achieve realistic highlights across the curved surfaces.
