About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair for 3ds Max features a curved backrest and grey fabric upholstery on a minimal metal frame. Designed with a compact footprint, this lounge chair features a distinctive semi-circular backrest that wraps around the seat base. The upholstery is a textured grey fabric, providing a soft tactile quality that contrasts with the angular, tapered metal legs. The seat is well-proportioned, offering a low-slung profile suitable for casual seating arrangements. Its form is clean and unobtrusive, focusing on the geometry of the curve against the straight lines of the base. The construction appears seamless, with internal framing supporting the upholstered shell to maintain its sculptural silhouette in any interior space.

The download is a 4.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a single object group. Users should check the pivot point upon insertion to ensure it is centered at the base for easy placement on floor planes. The fabric material is mapped with a standard coordinate system, allowing for simple texture scaling if required. The metal legs are assigned a separate material ID, facilitating easy adjustment of the finish from matte to reflective to match specific project lighting conditions and render engine requirements.

This lounge chair is ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or boutique office breakout areas where a touch of contemporary comfort is desired. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or as an accent piece in a quiet reading corner. Professionals searching for modern seating solutions will find this model useful for architectural visualisations that require refined, neutral furniture. Its versatile design integrates seamlessly into both high-end residential interiors and professional hospitality environments, providing a balanced aesthetic that complements various modern interior styles.
