About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max set features a grey fabric armchair and a black metal side table, ideal for modern lounge environments. This set includes a compact, contemporary armchair featuring a textured charcoal-grey fabric upholstery with a contrasting off-white seat cushion. The chair frame has a curved, enveloping profile that integrates the backrest and armrests into a single sweeping form. Accompanying the seating is a slender side table with a black circular top supported by a conical, wire-frame metal base. The minimalist aesthetic emphasises clean lines and a monochromatic palette, providing a balanced silhouette suitable for residential interiors or lobby areas where space-efficient yet comfortable seating solutions are required for guests.

The download is a 21 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max set into a project, users should import the assets as a group to maintain the spatial relationship between the chair and table. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy material adjustments or modifications to the fabric texture mapping. Designers may need to check the pivot points before placement to ensure the chair sits flush against the floor plane. Applying a high-quality HDRI environment will help define the metallic highlights on the table base.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel suites, or boutique office reception areas, this armchair and side table combination provides a functional seating vignette. It pairs well with minimalist rugs and floor lamps, serving as a focal point in reading nooks or waiting zones. Professionals searching for modern lounge furniture or compact seating sets for interior renders will find this asset useful for populating diverse projects. Its neutral colour scheme ensures compatibility with various contemporary interior design palettes and architectural styles.
