About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features grey fabric upholstery, a dark wood frame, and distinctive brass armrest details. This contemporary armchair exhibits a refined profile with a high, gently curved backrest and a deep, comfortable seat cushion. The upholstery is a neutral grey fabric, complemented by a decorative lumbar pillow featuring a geometric teal and gold pattern. The structural frame is crafted from dark-stained timber, providing a sharp contrast to the soft upholstery. Notable details include metallic brass caps on the armrest supports and a line of metallic nailhead trim running along the rear perimeter of the backrest. The tapered legs ensure a light, elegant silhouette suitable for sophisticated interior settings.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the object is placed at the correct floor level using the snap tool. The model is organized by logical material IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of fabric textures or metal finishes. Standard practice involves applying a high-quality fabric shader to the main upholstery and a polished metal material to the brass accents. Use a light-tracking HDRI to properly capture the reflections on the metallic components and to highlight the texture of the fabric.
