About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric armchair supported by a sleek, dark-stained timber frame for modern interiors. This armchair features a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by a stark contrast between its dark timber frame and light grey upholstery. The design includes a structured, square-profile wooden base and backrest, complemented by plush, loose-cushion seating. The armrests are softly padded with a slight flare, providing a relaxed profile that softens the geometric rigidity of the frame. The fabric appears to have a subtle, woven texture, while the exposed wooden structure provides a balanced, architectural look. It is a simple, effective piece suitable for various interior styles, from minimalist to transitional residential spaces.

In 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a single object with logical grouping. Users should check the pivot point at the base for easy placement on floor planes. The model uses standard material slots, allowing for quick adjustments to the fabric texture or wood stain if required. Ensure the scale is verified against project units upon insertion to maintain accurate proportions within the scene. Lighting should be set to highlight the texture of the fabric and the depth of the dark wooden frame.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks in professional offices. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, textured wool rugs, or floor lamps for a complete lounge arrangement. Professional designers often search for this type of versatile accent seating when specifying furniture for high-end residential projects or hospitality suites. It serves as a reliable, neutral seating option that complements both dark-toned and light-toned interior palettes, adding comfort without overpowering the surrounding architectural elements.
