About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a soft grey fabric interior paired with a structured wood shell and a swivel base. Designed with a focus on comfort and clean lines, this armchair features a deep, curved shell finished in a warm-toned wood veneer. The interior is generously upholstered in a light grey fabric, with visible tufting and soft folds that accentuate the plushness of the seat and backrest. The design integrates a high-backed profile that wraps around the user, providing a sense of enclosure. It is supported by a minimalist four-legged swivel base crafted from light-coloured timber, which provides a stable foundation while maintaining a lightweight aesthetic suitable for modern interior spaces.

The download is a 22.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The model is provided as a 3ds Max asset, ready for integration into architectural scenes. Users can easily manage the object using layer properties to separate the upholstery from the shell and base components. Applying custom materials or adjusting the fabric texture is straightforward, allowing for seamless integration into various interior colour palettes. When placing the chair in a scene, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned with the floor plane for accurate rotation and scaling within the 3D environment.

This armchair is ideal for creating inviting lounge areas in residential projects, such as living rooms or master bedrooms. Its swivel function makes it an excellent choice for home offices or hotel suites where flexible seating is required.
