Cylindrical Marble Base Aquarium Tank

This contemporary cylindrical aquarium tank for SketchUp features a striking white marble base and clear glass enclosure. Designed as a floor-to-ceiling sculptural element, this cylindrical aquarium presents a seamless glass tank mounted upon a substantial, circular white marble plinth with dramatic grey veining. The structure is capped by a dark, minimalist cylindrical housing, which conceals mechanical components and lighting. The interior is rendered with aquatic vegetation and fish, providing a realistic visual anchor for high-end interior compositions. Its verticality and contrasting material palette of polished natural stone and transparent glass make it a sophisticated focal point for open-plan living areas, luxury hotel lobbies, or modern executive offices.

The download is a 85.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When inserting this SketchUp model into a project, ensure the object is placed on the correct layer to manage visibility during rendering. The model is structured as a group, allowing for easy adjustment of its vertical position relative to the floor plane. Users should apply high-quality glass materials to the tank surfaces to ensure realistic refraction and transparency. For final visualisations, consider adjusting the lighting within the top housing to cast a subtle glow through the water, enhancing the overall depth and realism of the scene.
