About this asset

This contemporary cylindrical stool SketchUp model features a textured grey fabric upholstery contrasted by a sleek brown metal base. This compact cylindrical stool presents a clean, modern aesthetic defined by its dual-material construction. The upper seat and side panels are upholstered in a dark grey textured fabric, which provides a tactile, soft surface. This is framed by a brown metal structure that circles the base and creates a subtle horizontal divide between the seat and the lower body. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile piece for various interior settings. Its simple, geometric form ensures it fits seamlessly into minimalist or contemporary design schemes without overwhelming the surrounding space.

The download is a 1.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised with clear geometry for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom materials to the fabric and metal components by accessing the material editor. The file is lightweight, allowing for efficient placement in larger interior scenes. It is recommended to group the stool components if further scaling or adjustment is required. Ensure the model is placed at the correct floor level using the base as a reference point for snapping and alignment during the final layout process.

This stool is well-suited for residential living rooms, walk-in wardrobes, or compact home offices where flexible seating is required. Its neutral colour palette allows it to pair effectively with contemporary lounge chairs, coffee tables, or vanity desks. Designers might search for this piece when specifying accent seating for hospitality lobbies, boutique retail showrooms, or modern breakout areas in commercial offices. It functions effectively as a standalone piece or as part of a small furniture grouping to add texture and functional seating.
