Contemporary Grey Fabric 3-Seater Sofa with Slatted Frame

This contemporary 3-seater sofa in 3ds Max features a dark slatted wood frame and light grey fabric upholstery with patterned cushions. Defined by its structured, minimalist aesthetic, this three-seater sofa centres on a deep, light grey upholstered seat base and backrest. The frame is constructed from dark-stained timber, featuring a rhythmic, vertical slatted design along the back and side panels that provides a distinct architectural silhouette. The piece includes a curated set of five decorative cushions, mixing monochromatic geometric patterns with a central, solid-coloured cushion featuring a contrasting central panel. The entire assembly sits on low-profile, tapered legs, balancing the substantial weight of the upholstered cushions with the slender, linear geometry of the wooden frame.

The download is a 59.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of cushions and structural elements. The fabric textures are mapped with clear UVW coordinates, suitable for adjusting tiling or colour tints to match specific interior schemes. Users should check the pivot point at the base for accurate placement on floor surfaces. When lighting the scene, ensure the slatted back is positioned to catch highlights, which helps define the depth and material quality of the dark timber frame.
