Contemporary Grey Fabric 2-Seater Sofa with Wood Frame

This contemporary 2-seater sofa for 3ds Max features a grey fabric upholstery set within a dark stained solid wood frame structure. Defined by its clean, linear aesthetic, this 2-seater sofa showcases a distinct mid-century influence. The frame is constructed from dark-toned timber, highlighting natural wood grain and featuring tapered legs and integrated armrests that curve gently outwards. Two seat cushions and two back cushions are upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, providing a soft contrast to the rigid, warm-toned timber base. Included with the model are a decorative rectangular scatter cushion and a folded textile throw, which add a layer of casual comfort to the otherwise structured, minimalist silhouette of the seating piece.

The download is a 17.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, users should maintain the object's layer structure to manage the upholstery and frame components independently. The geometry is optimized for efficient scene management, allowing for quick placement within interior renders. Apply custom fabric shaders to the cushions to achieve desired material depth and use standard light setups to accentuate the wood grain on the frame. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for seamless positioning on floor planes or rugs.

This sofa is well-suited for modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and contemporary lounge areas where a balance of warmth and minimalism is required. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables, textured area rugs, and ambient floor lighting. Designers looking for a versatile piece for open-plan living spaces or casual waiting areas will find this model useful for its balanced proportions and clean lines, making it a reliable asset for high-quality architectural visualisations and interior design presentations.
