About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a grey fabric upholstery set within a structured leather frame. This 2-seater sofa presents a clean, contemporary silhouette defined by its contrast between soft upholstery and rigid outer casing. The seat and backrest are finished in a textured grey fabric, with subtle button-tufting detailing on the seat cushions. The arms and exterior frame are wrapped in a smooth leather, providing a distinct material separation. The piece includes three decorative throw cushions in varied tones, adding depth to the composition. Its proportions are balanced, making it a versatile seating option for modern interiors that require a blend of comfort and structured, architectural form.

The download is a 22.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the geometry is placed at the origin of your scene to maintain scale accuracy. The fabric and leather materials are provided as distinct sub-objects, allowing for easy adjustment of texture mapping or colour variations through the material editor. Use local pivot points for precise rotation and placement against walls or within furniture groupings. Lighting the scene with an HDRI environment will help capture the subtle reflections on the leather frame and the depth of the fabric texture.
