About this asset

These contemporary double-layer fabric curtains for SketchUp feature a pleated header and a two-tone grey and white finish. These floor-length curtains feature a dual-layer construction designed to add depth and texture to interior window treatments. The primary layer is a white fabric with a subtle, grey textured pattern, while the secondary layer consists of a solid, darker grey fabric. Both panels utilise a uniform pleated header that creates consistent, vertical folds across the entire width of the assembly. The geometry is clean and structured, providing a realistic drape that hangs naturally from a concealed track or rod system, suitable for high-end residential or boutique hotel interior visualisations.

The download is an 11.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these curtains into a SketchUp model, import the component and position it relative to the desired window opening or wall recess. Since the model is built with distinct layers, users can easily apply individual materials or adjust the opacity of the fabric textures to suit specific lighting conditions. Ensure the model is scaled correctly against the room height before finalising placement, and use the native scale tool to adjust the width to fit specific window spans during the design development phase.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suites where a refined, layered aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with minimalist or contemporary furniture packages and can be used in both concept design and final presentation rendering stages.
