Contemporary Grey and White Fabric Double Curtain

This contemporary SketchUp model features a double-layered fabric curtain in grey and white, designed for realistic window treatments. This window treatment consists of a double-layered curtain assembly, featuring an opaque grey outer layer and a lighter, translucent white inner layer. The fabric is modelled with soft, natural-looking vertical folds and pleats, suggesting a lightweight textile drape. The assembly is suspended from a simple, concealed rod or track header, allowing for clean integration into wall recesses or ceiling-mounted pockets. The proportions are balanced to provide a realistic sense of volume and depth, suitable for architectural visualisation where soft, organic forms are required to break up hard-edged interior elements.

The download is a 5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this component is structured for easy placement along window frames or partition walls. Users can scale the width of the model to fit specific opening dimensions, though care should be taken to maintain the integrity of the pleat geometry. The textures are applied to standard faces, allowing for easy material replacement or adjustment of transparency and opacity settings in render plugins to achieve the desired light filtration effect for daytime or evening scenes.

Ideal for residential bedrooms, living rooms, and hospitality suites, these curtains provide essential warmth and softness to interior spaces. They pair effectively with modern glazing systems and minimalist window frames. Professionals searching for textile assets for high-end residential projects, hotel room staging, or home office renders will find this model useful for adding depth and realism. It is particularly effective in scenes requiring a layered window solution to manage light, offering a versatile aesthetic that complements various contemporary interior design schemes.
