Contemporary Grey and White Fabric Curtain Set – Variant 3

This contemporary 3ds Max curtain set features a layered design with opaque grey side panels and a central sheer white fabric. The assembly consists of a dual-layer system, comprising two heavy-weight grey side panels and a continuous, lightweight white sheer panel positioned behind. The curtains exhibit uniform vertical pleats, creating a structured, rhythmic appearance that hangs naturally from a concealed track or rod system. The fabric textures appear consistent, with the grey panels offering significant opacity and the white section providing a soft, translucent quality suitable for light diffusion. This combination provides both privacy and aesthetic depth, suitable for floor-to-ceiling glazing or standard window configurations in modern interiors.

The download is a 12.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the geometry is aligned with the window opening on the Z-axis for proper floor-to-ceiling placement. The fabric panels are typically grouped or layered by material, allowing for easy adjustment of opacity or translucency settings within the material editor. Users should apply a two-sided material shader to ensure correct light transmission through the sheer panels, particularly when rendering daytime scenes with natural sunlight coming through the window glazing.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and high-end hospitality suites where a balanced, layered window treatment is required. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary interior schemes, providing a soft contrast to hard surfaces like timber floors or stone cladding. Professionals can use this asset to add realism to architectural visualisations, searching for terms such as window drapes, layered curtains, or interior soft furnishings to populate scenes requiring a finished, lived-in feel.
