Contemporary Grey and Walnut Workstation Scene with Books

This contemporary 3ds Max workstation scene features a wall-mounted desk, integrated shelving, and a grey upholstered chair. This integrated workstation unit is designed for compact environments, featuring a vertical wall-mounted panel with a dark walnut-brown finish and subtle vertical fluting. A floating desk surface in a clean white finish extends from the panel, complemented by a single matching floating shelf above. The set includes a modern task chair with a grey fabric-upholstered seat and backrest, supported by a dark wood-finished base. The composition is completed by a curated selection of books placed on the shelf, providing a realistic, lived-in aesthetic for residential or professional interior visualisations.

The download is a 33.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is organised as a cohesive unit, allowing for efficient placement against interior walls. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan before final positioning. Materials are mapped for standard renderers; users can adjust the wood grain orientation or fabric bump maps to suit specific lighting conditions. The model is grouped for easy manipulation, though individual elements such as the chair or book accessories can be detached if required for custom configurations or scene variations.

Ideal for residential home offices, compact study nooks, or boutique hotel rooms, this workstation provides a complete furniture solution for small-scale projects. It integrates well into contemporary or mid-century inspired interiors where space efficiency is a priority. Designers searching for a ready-made study area or a functional wall-mounted desk setup will find this asset useful for rapid prototyping and high-quality architectural renders. It complements minimalist decor and pairs effectively with neutral wall treatments and soft task lighting.
