Contemporary Grey and Oak Wood Writing Desk with Chair

This contemporary 3ds Max desk and chair set features a grey and oak finish with integrated storage compartments for a tidy workspace. This writing desk features a rectangular top divided into functional zones: a central grey work surface flanked by two oak-veneered panels with circular cable management cutouts. The rear edge incorporates recessed storage slots for documents and stationery, maintaining a clean, clutter-free aesthetic. The desk is supported by slender, splayed metal legs in a matching grey tone. Accompanying the desk is a minimalist chair with a curved backrest and light-toned wooden legs, offering a cohesive scandi-inspired look. The overall composition is balanced, prioritising both utility and a light, airy presence in smaller home office environments.

The download is a 17.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max project, merge the file into your scene using the 'merge' command to preserve object hierarchy and layer organisation. The desk and chair are grouped as distinct elements, allowing for easy placement and repositioning within your floor plan. Apply your preferred render-ready materials to the wood and metal components, ensuring proper UV mapping for the oak grain. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the contrast between the matte grey surfaces and the natural wood textures.
