Contemporary Grey and Brown Wood Coffee Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a tiered, modular design with contrasting grey and dark brown wood finishes. Comprised of two distinct, overlapping sections, this coffee table presents a sophisticated study in geometric layering. The left portion consists of a stack of horizontal, light grey panels, while the right side features a broader, low-profile table surface finished in a deep, textured dark brown wood grain. This asymmetrical composition creates a dynamic visual balance, further enhanced by the included decorative set, which features a minimalist tray, a glass vase with delicate botanical stems, and small glass vessels. The piece is grounded by a recessed base, maintaining a clean, architectural silhouette suitable for modern interiors.

The download is a 27.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the table and decorative accessories independently. Users should check the pivot points upon merging to ensure proper placement on the floor plane. The wood grain textures are mapped to maintain continuity across the horizontal surfaces, and the glass elements are set up with appropriate material properties for standard ray-traced renderers. Scale adjustments may be required to suit specific project requirements, maintaining proportions between the layered elements.
