About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sectional sofa features a two-tone design with a tufted leather chaise and a structured fabric seating unit. Combining comfort and geometric precision, this modular sectional sofa presents a low-profile silhouette suitable for modern interiors. The left-hand section consists of a square-tufted dark brown leather chaise, topped with a single accent cushion. The right-hand section features a matching fabric base with two plush back cushions and a wide armrest. The contrast between the smooth leather texture and the woven fabric creates visual depth. Its clean lines and balanced proportions make it a versatile piece for open-plan living areas, offering both firm lounging support and a soft, inviting aesthetic for everyday use.

The download is a 52.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is set to the floor base for accurate placement within your scene. Use the material editor to adjust tiling or bump maps on the fabric textures to match your specific lighting environment. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing you to toggle the scatter cushions or separate the two sections if required. Apply standard interior lighting setups to highlight the contrast between the leather and fabric materials effectively.

This sectional sofa is ideally suited for contemporary living rooms, hotel lobbies, or high-end residential lounge areas. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and floor lamps to complete a cohesive seating arrangement. Professionals searching for modular seating, L-shaped sofas, or statement lounge furniture will find this asset fits seamlessly into various design schemes. Its neutral colour palette allows for easy integration into both light-filled airy spaces and moodier, darker interior concepts during the early stages of project visualisation.
