About this asset

This contemporary fabric curtain set for SketchUp features a layered design with textured grey outer panels and a solid blue inner layer. This window treatment assembly consists of a dual-layered curtain arrangement designed with realistic, gravity-defying folds and natural draping. The outer panels are rendered in a medium grey textile with a subtle, fine-weave surface texture, while the inner layer is a smooth, light blue fabric that provides a soft contrast. The set is structured to hang in vertical, rhythmic pleats, creating a sense of depth and volume suitable for architectural visualization. Each panel extends to the floor, offering a clean, floor-to-ceiling aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into modern interior design schemes.

The download is a 10.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this curtain set into a SketchUp scene, place the component along the desired window wall or partition line. Users should scale the model to match the specific floor-to-ceiling height of the interior space. The textures are applied as standard materials, allowing for easy adjustment of transparency or bump mapping to enhance realism in render engines. Keep the model on a dedicated layer to toggle visibility during the modelling process, and ensure the orientation faces the interior view.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suites where a layered, sophisticated window dressing is required. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary furniture and can be used to soften hard architectural lines in both new-build and renovation projects. Professionals often search for these assets when looking for soft furnishings to add warmth and scale to a room model. They are suitable for mid-stage design development and final presentation renderings, providing a realistic finish to any interior space.
