About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a floating TV wall unit with integrated shelving, finished in a contrasting grey and black palette. The assembly comprises a long, wall-mounted horizontal console with a wood-grain finish and a matching vertical floor-to-ceiling storage unit. The vertical component features a fluted black panel detail, open display shelving, and closed lower cabinetry. The horizontal console provides a clean, minimalist profile, effectively creating a sense of openness within the living space. The entire unit is styled with a sophisticated, monochromatic aesthetic, pairing textured wood surfaces with solid matte black elements. Decorative objects, including a television, books, and vases, are included to demonstrate scale and potential styling arrangements for interior compositions.

The download is a 34.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into distinct groups for the floating shelf and the vertical cabinet, allowing for easy adjustment of the total unit length. Users can apply custom wood or paint materials to the individual surfaces via the material editor. The file is optimised for placement against wall geometry; ensure the wall-mounted elements are properly aligned with the face of the partition wall using the snap tools to maintain the floating visual effect.

This media storage system is ideal for modern living rooms, open-plan apartments, or high-end residential entertainment areas. It pairs well with minimalist interior schemes and can be used in design development or presentation stages of a project. Professionals searching for bespoke joinery solutions, wall-mounted media consoles, or feature wall cabinetry will find this asset useful for visualising clean, functional storage layouts. It is suitable for both small-scale renovations and large-scale residential developments where a consistent, contemporary aesthetic is required.
