Contemporary Gold Metal Curved Reception Desk

This contemporary gold metal curved reception desk for 3ds Max features a striking, sculptural form with a reflective metallic finish. The reception desk exhibits a bold, fluid aesthetic defined by its sweeping, semi-circular silhouette. Constructed with a polished gold-toned metal exterior, the piece creates a high-impact visual focal point suitable for premium commercial interiors. The design incorporates a raised, cone-shaped detail on the transaction surface, adding an architectural element to the otherwise minimalist, organic curve of the base. Its proportions are intended for professional lobby settings, offering a sleek, continuous front profile that hides the workspace from the visitor side while maintaining an elegant, high-end appearance throughout the entire unit.

The download is a 38.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

This asset is provided as a 3ds Max file, allowing for straightforward integration into scene files via merging. Users should ensure their scene lighting is configured to interact correctly with the metallic material properties to achieve realistic reflections on the gold surface. The model is scaled for standard office heights, though it should be checked against specific floor plans for clearance. Applying an HDRI map will significantly enhance the interplay of light across the curved metallic geometry during the rendering process.
