Contemporary Gold and Marble Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features a nested configuration with a marble-topped low table and a glass-topped side table. This nesting table set consists of two round pieces designed with a distinct luxury aesthetic. The larger coffee table features a white marble top with subtle grey veining, supported by a conical gold-finished metal base. The smaller side table pairs a circular dark glass top with a matching gold pedestal base. The proportions are balanced, with the lower coffee table offering a wider surface area for styling, while the taller side table provides a compact footprint. Both pieces share a clean, minimalist silhouette that highlights the metallic finish and high-contrast material palette.

The download is a 14.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object layers to allow for easy selection and material adjustment. Users should check the pivot points at the base for efficient placement within a scene. The metallic finish on the pedestals is ready for standard environment mapping to capture realistic reflections. When integrating into a project, ensure the scale is adjusted to match the surrounding seating arrangements, and apply custom render settings to the glass and marble textures to achieve the desired level of realism.

These tables are well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, and executive reception areas. They work effectively as a central feature in front of a curved or modular sofa, providing both surface utility and visual interest. Professionals often search for nesting tables to optimise space in smaller apartments or to add a layered, dynamic element to larger open-plan interiors. They pair seamlessly with velvet or leather upholstery, complementing both modern and classic interior schemes by introducing a touch of metallic refinement.
