Contemporary Fabric Upholstered Sofa Collection

This collection of contemporary fabric sofas and an armchair for SketchUp features diverse seating styles with metal and fabric finishes. This set comprises four distinct seating pieces, ranging from structured rectangular sofas with geometric metal side detailing to a sleek, curved kidney-shaped lounge sofa. The upholstery is rendered in neutral tones of white and grey, complemented by a selection of accent cushions in varied patterns and solid colours. Each piece is supported by refined legs, with some designs incorporating intricate, open-work metal frames. The variety of forms—including linear, curved, and lounge-style configurations—provides a versatile range of seating options suitable for different interior layouts, from formal living areas to relaxed breakout spaces.

The download is a 63.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import these components into SketchUp as individual blocks, allowing for flexible placement within floor plans. The geometry is organised by components, enabling easy material replacement or texture scaling on the upholstery surfaces. For efficient scene management, it is recommended to keep these assets on a dedicated layer to toggle visibility during the modelling process. When rendering, ensure the metal frame materials are assigned reflective properties to capture the surrounding light accurately and enhance the overall realism of the furniture pieces.
