Contemporary Fabric Carpet Collection Set

This SketchUp model set comprises sixteen contemporary fabric carpets in various rectangular and circular configurations for interior spaces. The collection features a diverse range of area rugs, encompassing both rectangular and circular geometries. Each carpet presents a unique aesthetic, varying from solid neutral tones in charcoal and beige to complex patterns, plaids, and distressed-style textures. The pile heights and weave densities appear to differ across the set, providing a comprehensive selection for interior styling. These models are designed to lie perfectly flat on floor surfaces, offering a variety of visual textures that range from smooth, minimalist finishes to more intricate, woven-style appearances suitable for diverse room environments.

The download is a 67.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 16 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users should import these components into a SketchUp file and place them directly onto the floor plane. Since these are flat geometry, they are easily scalable to match specific room dimensions. Apply high-resolution textures or adjust the material properties within the native editor to control reflectivity and bump mapping. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated floor-covering layer to maintain model organisation, allowing for easy toggling between different rug options during the design development phase.
