About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV cabinet features a dark wood frame paired with two fluted cream-coloured doors for a textured finish. This media console showcases a clean, contemporary aesthetic with a focus on contrasting textures. The main structure is crafted from a dark, rich wood veneer, providing a sturdy base and top surface. Flanking the open central storage area are two sliding doors finished in an off-white or cream lacquer. These doors are defined by a distinct vertical fluted pattern, adding depth and visual interest to the minimalist silhouette. The cabinet is elevated on slender, subtly flared wooden legs, which enhance its lightweight profile while providing stable support for home entertainment equipment.

The download is a 30.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the pivot point is aligned with the floor plane for easy placement against walls. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material application if custom wood grains or lacquer finishes are required. Use standard alignment tools to position the unit against a feature wall or media bulkhead. Ensure the unit is scaled to match the surrounding interior proportions before applying final lighting setups or environmental reflections to the cabinet surfaces.

Ideal for residential living rooms, this TV cabinet serves as a sophisticated focal point in modern interior design schemes. It pairs well with minimalist decor, neutral-toned walls, and soft textiles like wool rugs or linen curtains. Designers often specify this piece for high-end apartment projects, media rooms, or open-plan living areas where a refined, uncluttered look is desired. It works effectively in spaces that combine natural wood elements with light, textural accents to create a balanced, contemporary atmosphere.
