About this asset

These brown fabric curtains with a curved metal track are a 3ds Max model, featuring soft, floor-length drapery for interior spaces. Designed for versatility, these curtains feature a rich brown, textured fabric that hangs in deep, natural folds. The assembly includes a curved metal track system, allowing the fabric to follow a circular or semi-circular path. The drapery is secured to the track via integrated loop hangers, ensuring a clean, uniform drape from top to bottom. The fabric has a subtle, tactile weave, providing a sense of depth and weight. The sleek metal track maintains a minimalist aesthetic, ensuring the focus remains on the texture and form of the curtains themselves.

The download is an 18.5 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with V-Ray materials. Open it in 3ds Max with V-Ray installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these curtains are structured as distinct geometry, allowing for easy adjustment of the track path or fabric scaling to suit specific room dimensions. Users can manipulate the fabric modifiers to refine the folds or alter the transparency settings within the material editor to simulate different levels of light filtration. The track system is typically kept as a separate object layer, enabling precise alignment with ceiling planes or structural bulkheads during the final scene assembly and rendering process.

These curtains are suitable for a wide range of applications, including residential bedroom setups, hotel guest room privacy screens, or clinical environments requiring flexible room division. They pair effectively with contemporary interior schemes that utilise natural, earthy palettes. Architects and visualisers frequently search for these as privacy drapes, curved track systems, or soft room dividers to add realism to interior renders. They integrate well into projects where a soft, tactile element is needed to balance hard surface materials like stone or glass.
