About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a circular top and a distinctive pedestal base, rendered in a dark wood finish. This round coffee table presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its geometric pedestal base. The tabletop is circular, featuring a two-tone wood grain surface with a subtle lighter-toned edge detail. The structural base consists of four intersecting vertical panels that provide a stable, tapered support, finished in a deep, dark wood stain that contrasts with the lighter top surface. The proportions suggest a versatile accent piece suitable for lounge areas or small seating arrangements. The design is minimalist, focusing on the interplay of vertical lines in the base and the circular form above.

The download is a 3.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, import the file and use the align tool to ensure the base sits flush with the floor plane. The object is structured with logical material IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood textures in the slate material editor. It is recommended to apply a high-quality wood map to the UVW coordinates to maintain grain consistency across the pedestal panels. Ensure the model is scaled appropriately for the specific scene environment during the initial import process.
