About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features dark wood fluted panels, integrated shelving, and a built-in linear fireplace. The assembly comprises a central television mounting section finished in a dark, vertically grained wood veneer, flanked by vertical fluted timber panels. Two recessed shelving columns are integrated into the sides, complete with built-in LED accent lighting. A low-profile, long-span storage cabinet runs the width of the base, finished in a warmer walnut-toned wood, housing a central linear ethanol or electric fireplace insert. The composition balances symmetry with textural contrast, using the vertical fluting to draw the eye while the clean, horizontal base provides a grounded anchor for the entire media display configuration.

The download is a 146 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layering, allowing for easy separation of the base cabinetry, wall panels, and light fixtures. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan before merging to ensure the depth of the unit aligns with site conditions. The integrated light sources are typically assigned to specific object IDs, facilitating individual control over the intensity and colour temperature of the display shelf illumination when setting up render passes or adjusting the scene lighting.

This media wall is suitable for high-end residential living rooms, home cinema spaces, and luxury apartment interiors. It functions effectively as a focal point in open-plan layouts, requiring minimal additional joinery. Designers often specify such units to consolidate media equipment, decorative accessories, and heating elements into a single, cohesive architectural feature. Search phrasings like 'bespoke media joinery', 'fluted wood TV wall', or 'integrated fireplace media unit' will assist in finding this asset for modern interior design projects in the early development stages.
