About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max side table features a circular dark wood top supported by a sculptural natural timber slatted base with an orchid. This sculptural accent piece combines a minimalist dark-stained wood circular tabletop with an intricate, open-form base. The base is composed of multiple curved timber slats, creating a rhythmic, cage-like aesthetic that provides visual lightness despite the solid materials. The set includes a decorative potted white orchid arrangement, adding a soft organic contrast to the structured, geometric design of the table. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for tight corners or as a statement piece in a lounge area. The joinery details between the slats and the base plate suggest a high level of craftsmanship.

The download is an 18.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is typically managed as a single grouped asset. Users can easily separate the potted orchid from the table geometry if needed for specific staging requirements. The materials are mapped with standard texture coordinates, allowing for straightforward adjustments to wood grain orientation or stain intensity. When placing this in a scene, ensure the pivot point is set to the floor base to simplify alignment with floor planes or carpet surfaces in your interior visualisations.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or boutique retail environments, this side table serves as a functional accent or a focal point. It pairs well with modern lounge chairs or as a bedside table in minimalist bedrooms. Professionals often search for this type of asset when needing a decorative, high-detail furniture piece to fill dead corners or to add life to a rendering through the included botanical element. It integrates seamlessly into contemporary or japandi-style interior design projects.
