About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max console table set features a two-tier dark wood and metal frame with curated decorative book and bowl accessories. This minimalist console table features a slender, rectangular metal frame finished in black, supporting two horizontal tiers. The top surface is finished in a dark, textured wood veneer, while the lower shelf is composed of a smooth, reflective dark surface. The set includes a selection of decorative items: two books—one with a white spine and one solid black—and a sculptural metallic bowl. The proportions are balanced for narrow spaces, offering a clean, linear profile that emphasizes the contrast between the organic wood grain and the sharp, industrial-style metal structure.

The download is a 12.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the table and individual accessories. Users can adjust the wood grain mapping or metal reflections via the material editor to suit specific project lighting conditions. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to scale or reposition within a scene. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls or behind sofas during the interior layout phase.

Ideal for residential entryways, living room vignettes, or high-end office reception areas, this console table adds refined storage and surface area. It pairs effectively with contemporary wall art, sculptural floor lamps, or minimalist mirrors. Designers often search for this type of object as a decorative console or a modern entry table to ground a foyer space. Its versatile aesthetic works well in both luxury apartments and modern commercial lobbies, providing a finished, lived-in look to architectural visualisations and interior design presentations.
