About this asset

This contemporary room divider for SketchUp features a dark wood frame with integrated marble panels and illuminated display shelving. This architectural room divider combines a rigid, dark timber frame with a central slab of dark veined marble. The structure is asymmetrical, featuring an open-grid section on the left with angular bracing, a solid marble panel in the middle, and a vertical display unit on the right. The display section includes integrated warm LED lighting and adjustable shelves, currently styled with various minimalist white ceramic vases and abstract sculptures. The combination of deep, rich wood tones and cool, polished stone provides a balanced aesthetic, suitable for defining zones within an open-plan interior layout.

The download is a 10.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed for SketchUp, this model is structured with logical grouping for easy manipulation of the frame, shelving, and decor elements. Users should utilise the native layer system to toggle the display accessories on or off depending on the project requirements. The materials are applied as standard textures; ensure that the UV mapping is maintained if scaling the unit to fit specific ceiling heights. For visualisations, the lighting component is best managed by assigning an emissive material to the shelf backings.

Ideal for residential living areas, hotel lobbies, or high-end retail showrooms, this piece functions both as a spatial separator and a decorative focal point. It pairs well with modern furniture, such as low-profile sofas or minimalist dining sets, where a subtle transition between zones is required. Designers often search for this type of asset when looking for open shelving, feature partitions, or bespoke joinery solutions to add depth and texture to an interior scheme while maintaining light flow throughout the space.
