About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max display cabinet features a dark wood frame with cream interiors and a three-door base storage unit. This large-scale display cabinet is designed with a striking contrast between its dark wood exterior frame and the light cream-coloured internal shelving. The unit combines an open, asymmetric grid of shelves for decorative items and books with a closed storage base featuring three panelled doors. Its proportions are tall and slender, making it ideal for vertical wall applications. The shelves vary in size, providing flexible storage for objects of different dimensions. The overall aesthetic is clean and modern, relying on the interplay of colours and the functional division between display space and concealed storage.

The download is a 31.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this unit into a 3ds Max scene, use the file as a single block or group. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy placement against walls. Apply custom materials to the timber and interior surfaces to match your specific interior palette. The model includes decorative props, which can be detached or hidden in the layer manager if you prefer to populate the shelves with your own assets or specific client-requested items for a more bespoke interior visualization.

This display cabinet is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, home libraries, or professional office executive suites. It pairs well with minimalist furniture or mid-century modern pieces, offering a sophisticated look for residential projects, boutique retail spaces, or corporate reception areas where a refined aesthetic is required for client presentations.
