Contemporary Dark Wood 8-Seater Dining Set in Black

This contemporary 8-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a dark wood rectangular table paired with eight sleek black armchairs. This dining set comprises a large, rectangular table finished in a deep, dark wood grain, supported by substantial slab-style legs at either end. It is accompanied by eight identical armchairs, which feature a minimalist, moulded plastic construction. The chairs have a continuous, flowing silhouette with integrated armrests and slender legs, providing a stark, monochromatic contrast to the organic texture of the table. The proportions are balanced for a formal dining arrangement, with the chairs designed to slide neatly under the table surface when not in use, maintaining a clean, uncluttered visual profile.

The download is a 14.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and use the align tool to position it centrally within your dining area. The objects are typically grouped or layered for easy selection; ensure you maintain these layers to manage the table and chairs independently. Apply high-resolution textures to the wood surface and adjust the specular settings on the plastic chair material to achieve a realistic semi-matte finish that responds accurately to your scene lighting and global illumination settings.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, luxury hotel suites, or modern office breakout areas, this set provides a cohesive solution for open-plan living spaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes, neutral wall palettes, or industrial-style concrete flooring. Professionals searching for a dark wood dining table or a complete dining room furniture set will find this model suitable for high-end visualisations, staging, or architectural interior design projects where a clean, contemporary aesthetic is required to ground the space.
