Contemporary Dark Wood 8-Seater Dining Set

This contemporary 8-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a dark wood table paired with upholstered chairs and decorative metal accents. This dining set comprises a large rectangular table with a dark, high-gloss wood veneer finish, accented by thin metal detailing along the edges. The eight accompanying chairs feature a fully upholstered backrest and seat in a textured beige fabric. Each chair back is distinguished by a vertical channel-tufted pattern and a decorative brass-toned ring pull mounted on the rear. The chairs are supported by slender, tapered black metal legs, providing a clean, balanced silhouette that complements the substantial presence of the table. A small decorative set of plates and canisters is included as part of the scene.

The download is an 8.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised by object type for efficient scene management. Users can easily adjust the wood texture scale or swap the fabric material to suit specific interior palettes. The chairs are instanced, allowing for quick modifications to the arrangement or seat count. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor plane when merging into larger architectural scenes. Proper lighting setup, particularly using an HDRI for reflections on the high-gloss table surface, will enhance the realism of the materials.
