About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a dark grey leather shell and a curved silhouette, supported by slender tapered metal legs. The armchair is defined by its organic, sculptural form, featuring a continuous backrest and armrest structure that wraps around the user. Upholstered in a dark grey leather, the piece displays subtle stitching details along the seams, highlighting its rounded profile. The seat cushion is integrated into the frame with a soft, plush appearance, providing a comfortable lounge experience. In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layering for ease of use. Designers can apply custom materials or adjust the existing leather shaders to match specific project requirements. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement in interior scenes. When importing into a larger project, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for accurate positioning on floor surfaces. Proper light placement is essential to accentuate the subtle sheen of the leather and the curvature of the frame.

This armchair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive office waiting areas. Its compact footprint makes it an excellent choice for creating a comfortable reading nook or a secondary seating arrangement in a master bedroom. Professionals often search for this type of accent chair when looking to add a touch of modern sophistication to a space. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and floor lamps to complete a curated, contemporary interior design scheme.
