About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a natural wood frame and a plush dark green leather cushion for refined comfort. Defined by a clean-lined wooden frame, this armchair showcases a balanced mix of organic warmth and structured seating. The light-toned timber structure forms a supportive base with gently flared armrests and a horizontal stretcher bar for stability. The seat and backrest are composed of a singular, thick, tufted leather cushion in a deep forest green, providing a soft contrast to the rigid frame. Its proportions are compact yet comfortable, making it an ideal choice for reading nooks or secondary seating areas where both material texture and minimalist form are required.

The download is a 14.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical object naming and organized layers, allowing for efficient scene management. The material setup includes high-resolution maps for the wood grain and leather surface, which can be easily adjusted via the material editor to suit specific lighting conditions. Users should apply a standard UV unwrap modifier if rescaling is necessary to ensure the leather texture remains consistent across the cushion geometry during final scene integration.

This armchair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive breakout spaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or as a standalone accent piece in a home office. Professionals searching for a versatile lounge chair will find this asset useful for projects requiring a blend of Scandinavian-inspired woodwork and modern luxury upholstery. It serves as a reliable element for interior visualizations focusing on comfort-oriented design schemes and natural material palettes.
