About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max workspace set features a dark brown timber work desk paired with an upholstered chair for home offices. The set comprises a rectangular work desk constructed from dark brown timber, showcasing a clean-lined, minimalist frame with straight legs. Accompanying the table is a single upholstered chair with a sleek, curved backrest and tapered wooden legs that complement the desk's finish. The composition is presented as a complete functional scene, including a laptop, a computer mouse, and a coffee cup, providing a realistic scale for interior visualizations. The dark, rich tones of the wood and the subtle texture of the upholstery create a sophisticated aesthetic suitable for modern professional environments or private studies.

The download is a 34.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the desk, seating, and accessories. Users should verify the scale against the scene units before merging into the main project file. Materials are assigned using standard slots, which can be easily swapped or adjusted to match specific interior lighting conditions. The geometry is clean, facilitating efficient placement within a larger floor plan or as a standalone focal point in a high-quality render.

This work desk set is ideal for residential home office designs, executive suites, or boutique hotel rooms where a compact, stylish workspace is required. It pairs effectively with modern shelving units, task lighting, and neutral wall palettes to complete a professional study or reading nook. Designers frequently search for this type of furniture when detailing contemporary interiors that balance comfort with functional, clean-lined design. It serves as an excellent foundational piece for staging realistic, lived-in workspaces in architectural visualization projects.
