About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp armchair features a dark brown leather shell supported by a slender, white-finished metal frame base. This lounge armchair presents a sculptural, mid-century inspired silhouette with a curved, singular shell that integrates the backrest and armrests. Upholstered in a dark brown leather, the seat provides a deep, ergonomic profile. The structure is elevated by a distinctively shaped white metal base, featuring four slender legs that terminate in small circular feet. Included in this set is a complementary cubic side table with a black top and a white base, creating a balanced, minimalist composition suitable for refined lounge areas or executive office suites.

The download is a 4.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into components to facilitate easy manipulation of the armchair and side table separately. Users should check the component axes upon insertion to ensure correct placement on the floor plane. The white metal frame and leather textures are applied using standard material slots, allowing for quick adjustments to colour or reflectivity. Scaling should be performed uniformly to maintain the proportions of the frame, and the model is lightweight enough for placement in larger architectural scenes without impacting performance.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout zones, this armchair serves as a sophisticated accent piece. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables or as part of a quiet reading corner arrangement. Designers often search for this type of lounge seating when specifying contemporary interiors that require a blend of comfort and structural elegance. It is particularly well-suited for projects aiming for a clean, curated aesthetic in both commercial and residential interior design schemes.
