About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp sectional sofa set features dark brown fabric upholstery paired with natural wood frames and side tables. This modular seating arrangement comprises an L-shaped sectional sofa, a matching ottoman, and a central coffee table. The sofa and ottoman are upholstered in a dark brown fabric, contrasted by substantial natural wood bases and integrated side tables with slatted detailing. The design prioritises clean, geometric lines, with the wood frames extending beyond the cushions to provide functional surface areas. The set includes scatter cushions for added comfort, and the proportions are balanced to suit modern open-plan living spaces. Its construction highlights a blend of soft textiles and rigid timber elements.

The download is a 135 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is best managed using layers or tags to keep the geometry organised from the background environment. Users can import the model as a component, ensuring the axes are set for easy placement against interior walls or within a central floor layout. The wood and fabric materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily replaced or adjusted in the material editor to match specific project colour palettes or finish schedules without breaking the underlying model structure.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and high-end executive lounge areas, this set provides a cohesive aesthetic for interior design schemes. It pairs well with minimalist rugs and neutral-toned wall treatments, making it a versatile choice for contemporary residential projects. Designers searching for modular seating that incorporates functional side tables will find this model effective for space-planning exercises. It is particularly suited for staging modern apartments or luxury hospitality interiors where integrated storage and surface functionality are required in a single footprint.
