About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a natural rattan frame and cream fabric upholstery, complete with an integrated throw. Defined by its organic silhouette, this armchair combines a curved, natural-finish rattan frame with plush, cream-coloured fabric upholstery. The design features a high backrest and gently sloped armrests that transition smoothly into the base. An additional throw blanket is draped over the back, adding a layer of texture and visual softness to the piece. The seat cushion is substantial, providing a comfortable profile, while the lightweight, woven construction of the frame offers a balanced aesthetic suitable for both relaxed living areas and sophisticated lounge settings in hospitality projects.

The download is a 23 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the model is placed on the floor plane using the pivot point at the base of the legs. The geometry is organized into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the frame and fabric components. Users should verify that the texture mapping on the rattan is scaled correctly to match the project's lighting environment. The included throw should be treated as a separate element to allow for minor adjustments or removal depending on the desired scene composition.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, reading nooks, and boutique hotel lobbies. It pairs well with minimalist wooden coffee tables or as a standalone accent piece in a sunroom or conservatory. Professionals searching for natural-textured seating, organic modern lounge furniture, or comfortable reading chairs will find this asset versatile for various interior styles. Its neutral palette allows for seamless integration into projects ranging from Scandinavian-inspired homes to relaxed, high-end hospitality spaces requiring a soft, inviting focal point.
