About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair for SketchUp features a cream fabric seat shell supported by a minimalist light timber frame. Defined by a soft, organic silhouette, this lounge chair features an upholstered seat shell finished in a neutral cream fabric. The design prioritises comfort through its curved backrest and deep, scooped seat profile. Below, a light-toned timber frame provides structural support, characterised by clean, straight lines and an X-braced base construction. The proportions are compact yet inviting, making it suitable for both intimate residential settings and modern commercial breakout spaces. Every element is modelled with clean geometry to maintain visual clarity while ensuring the piece integrates seamlessly into various interior design schemes.

The download is a 12.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into a clean component or group structure, allowing for easy placement and orientation within your scene. Apply textures directly to the fabric and wood surfaces to suit your specific project requirements. Because the model is lightweight, it can be duplicated to create seating arrangements without significantly impacting viewport performance. Ensure the origin point is centred at the base for efficient snapping to floor levels or onto rugs and carpets during your layout process.

This lounge chair is ideal for contemporary living rooms, hotel lobbies, and executive office reception areas. It pairs well with low-profile coffee tables and minimalist floor lamps, creating a relaxed focal point in any room. Professionals should search for this piece when specifying furniture for residential projects, boutique retail showrooms, or modern cafe interiors. Its versatile, neutral aesthetic allows it to transition easily between warm, textured spaces and more clinical, high-tech environments, providing a reliable seating solution for diverse architectural visualisations.
