About this asset

This contemporary cream fabric L-shaped sectional sofa for SketchUp features clean lines, dark timber legs, and a draped throw blanket. This L-shaped sectional sofa features a minimalist, contemporary aesthetic defined by its crisp, rectilinear silhouette and neutral cream upholstery. The design includes a fixed chaise section, providing an integrated lounging element. The frame is lifted on slender, dark-toned timber feet, which provide a subtle contrast to the light fabric. Included in the assembly are two decorative scatter cushions and a draped throw blanket, which add a sense of lived-in realism to the form. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile choice for structured, modern interior layouts.

The download is a 14.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp scene, place the component using the base of the timber legs as the insertion point. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match the project's floor plan dimensions. The fabric texture is mapped for standard rendering workflows; however, one might consider adjusting the UV coordinates or applying a custom material override if a specific fabric weave or colour is required to match project specifications.

This sectional is well-suited for open-plan living rooms, residential apartments, and boutique hotel lobbies where a clean, approachable aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables, textured area rugs, and minimalist floor lamps. Professionals searching for modern living room seating, corner sofas, or comfortable lounge furniture will find this piece highly adaptable for both early-stage spatial planning and final high-fidelity visualisations. Its neutral palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into diverse interior design schemes ranging from minimalist to soft-contemporary.
