About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp daybed features a cream fabric upholstery with a black wood frame and integrated side table surface. This daybed presents a fusion of clean contemporary lines and traditional textures. The frame is constructed from dark-stained wood, featuring a woven rattan back panel that adds depth and tactile interest. The upholstered seat and bolster cushions are finished in a neutral cream fabric, complemented by a selection of accent cushions in tan and white. A notable architectural detail is the integrated black wood side table that bridges the frame, offering a functional surface for small items. The overall profile is low and minimalist, grounding the piece within modern interior compositions.

The download is a 30.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom material textures to the fabric and wood surfaces to match specific project finishes. The model is scaled to standard ergonomic proportions, allowing for quick placement in floor plans or interior scenes. It is recommended to use the native layer system to manage the cushion components separately from the frame, ensuring clean geometry when populating large-scale residential or hotel lobby renders with multiple furniture assets.

Ideal for sophisticated residential living rooms, reading nooks, or boutique hotel suites, this daybed serves as a versatile focal point. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, natural textures, and low-profile furniture arrangements. Designers often search for this type of piece when specifying 'daybed', 'lounge furniture', or 'contemporary seating' for projects requiring a blend of comfort and sculptural interest. It integrates seamlessly into high-end residential briefs or hospitality lounge areas looking to achieve a serene, balanced atmosphere through clean, functional design.
