About this asset

This contemporary cream fabric curved sectional sofa for SketchUp features an organic silhouette accented by mustard-toned bolster cushions. Defined by its soft, kidney-bean silhouette, this contemporary sectional sofa features a low-profile frame upholstered in a neutral cream fabric. The design incorporates two distinct seating sections that merge into a flowing curve, providing a sculptural focal point for a living area. Included are several cylindrical bolster pillows and rounded throw cushions, finished in a contrasting mustard hue with a subtle ribbed texture. The lack of visible legs creates a monolithic, grounded appearance, emphasising the fluid, rounded geometry of the piece which is designed to soften rigid interior architectural lines.

The download is a 20.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into a project, import the component and utilise the native scaling tools to ensure it fits the room dimensions. The geometry is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy material assignment or texture replacement via the default tray. For high-quality visualisations, apply a soft fabric bump map to the cream upholstery to enhance the depth of the textile during rendering, ensuring the bolster cushions remain distinct from the base mesh to maintain visual clarity in the final output.

This sectional is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern lounge areas where organic shapes are desired to create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and circular area rugs, which complement its curved footprint. Architects and interior designers frequently specify this type of seating for open-plan layouts to define circulation paths without the harsh corners of traditional linear furniture. It is a versatile choice for projects requiring a soft, comfortable, and visually interesting centrepiece.
